ABOUT LAKE FARM
Our Story
Lake Farm is an artisan Angus cattle breeder, on the banks of Lake Karapiro. We are a registered Angus Stud (Lake Farm Genetics), with a mission to grow special cattle, bred “for tomorrow’s world”.
We have twice won Beef and Lamb NZ’s prestigious “Steak of Origin” competition to find the best steak in the country, and in 2018 were so thrilled to be the subject of NZ’s iconic Country Calendar.
It has been an amazing journey which we are so grateful for. All animals in our herd are bred, born and raised in an idyllic location looking over Lake Karapiro. They are very much like family. It is a very special existence.
